Get in touch

How do I get in touch with you?

There’s lots of ways: you can use Twitter or Facebook, or email me directly at

Will you speak at my event?

I would love to! I can only do a limited number of events each year, so I give preference to events that have a code of conduct, cover travel costs and accommodations, and offer a speakers fee. I put months of work into every talk I prepare, so I’m usually unable to speak for free. If you think I’d be a good fit for your event, please do let me know at

Can I hire you for a freelance project?

I have a full-time job and am usually working on a talk or article, so I take on freelance projects on a very limited basis. If you have a project that has a very flexible timeline, we might be able to work together. If that doesn’t sound like it would work for you, I’d recommend checking out Erica Heinz, Dan Mall, Ghostly Ferns, or Fictive Kin to see if they’re available. You can also search for designers looking for work on dribbble.

Why haven’t I heard back from you yet?

Unfortunately I’m not always able to reply to every email I receive in a prompt manner. If it’s important we talk, and I don’t respond within a few days, please feel free to forward the email to me again and I’ll likely be grateful for the nudge.
