Beautiful illustrations of popular television shows by Albert Exergian, including personal favorites such Lost, Weeds, True Blood and 30 Rock.

I’m also loving Albert’s self-promotional series; who knew an “E” could look so delicious? To see more of his awesome work check out his Tumblr. You can also purchase a print, which would be a fantastic for anyone who loves design AND tv. Hint hint.

Since I woke up today so much has happened in the design world I can hardly keep up. To summarize:
Teux Deux

One of my favorite designers ever, swiss-miss, announced the launch of an incredibly simple and beautiful task management system called TeuxDeux. I love the idea of a to do list that’s in the browser. Currently I use The Hit List, which is nice, but a little more complex than what I need. Now I’m just anxiously awaiting a TeuxDeux iPhone app.
Mighty

Another one of my design heros, Jason Santa Maria, just announced his new design studio, Mighty. I love the simple mission statement:
… we want to make stuff that matters. Simple things. Honest things. Beautiful things. Every day, we want to make things that affect people in positive ways.
Mighty
I’m really looking forward to seeing the work that comes out of this. Sidenote: the logo was done by the super talented Jessica Hische, and just reinforces my belief that she can do no wrong.
Ligature, Loop, & Stem

Today Ligature, Loop, & Stem announced the launch of another beautiful, limted edition ampersand print. So much want! I wish I could afford to buy one for SimpleBits and I for Christmas.
Museo Slab

In news I’m insanely excited about, the brilliant Jos Buivenga announced the launch of Museo Slab. I’m already completely in love with the Museo family, and this new addition just makes me swoon a little harder. The best part of all? You can grab the 500 weight (also in italic) for free! I’m betting this will make a great alternative to Archer if you’re looking for something a little different.
Phew! What a morning. Let’s hope things quiet down for the afternoon so I can get some serious work done.

APAK : Aaron + Ayumi : Welcome!
I love these whimsical space themed illustrations by apak studio. The colors, texture, and adorable characters feel like something out of a children’s book.
